The first step to finding the right property is to register with us either by calling us on 01983 525710 or visit our Newport showroom. We will try our best to find a property that suits your needs.
Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements, you will receive a selection of properties that match your criteria. We can also keep you constantly up-to-date via email and text messaging when the latest properties become available.
An increasing number of tenants insist on renting fully managed properties for complete peace of mind. Renting a managed property has the benefit of a designated Trigg & Co Property Manager to handle your day-to-day issues and gives the reassurance that your property is fully compliant with all relevant safety regulations.
We’re open at times to suit you and contactable from 8am to 8pm – making it convenient for viewings, which can where necessary, be arranged after work and at weekends.
In order to secure a property, we recommend an early viewing. We will accompany you throughout so that we are on hand to answer any questions immediately.
Once you have identified a suitable property you will be required to complete an application for tenancy where you may state any special conditions of the offer and provide details of your references. We will then communicate this offer to the landlord. You will pay an administration fee to cover pre-tenancy related costs at this stage.
If your offer is accepted we will organise all the following, regardless of whether your property is managed. We will collect references from your employer, previous landlord and any other referees that you have provided; ensure all safety certificates are in date prior to the tenancy; complete a photographed inventory of condition; arrange signing of the Tenancy Agreement; and collect your moving in payment (initial month’s rent plus deposit).
You will need a tenants’ contents insurance policy in place on or before the day you move into your new home. Trigg & Co can arrange this for you through our insurance partner.
Upon completion, you will be given a set of keys and if your property is managed we will provide you with our Property Manager’s contact details.

Deposit Protection –
We will register the Tenants deposit with The Dispute Service throughout the period of the Tenancy and provide proof of protection for peace of mind all in line with the current government regulations from the start of the Tenancy. In the event of any dispute we will handle the claim from start to finish to ensure that the right outcome is achieved.
